Ian Hussey began his ballet instruction at the Rock School for Dance Education and continued his training at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under the direction of Marcia Dale Weary, graduating in 2004.

In the fall of 2004 Mr. Hussey joined Pennsylvania Ballet. In 2010, he was promoted to the rank of soloist and then to principal dancer in 2012. As a professional Mr. Hussey has performed a vast repertoire that has included world renowned choreographers such as George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, William Forsythe, Jiri Kylian, Christopher Wheeldon, Andrea Miller and many more.
