About Allysen Hooks

Allysen is from Houston, TX where she attended the High School for Performing and Visual Arts. She graduated from The Juilliard School in 2010 and went on to work with Dance Heginbotham, directed by John Heginbotham. Hooks has been working with Gallim since 2012, and is a close collaborator of director Andrea Miller. She has traveled extensively to perform, teach, and set Miller’s work. She has created her own work at the High School for Performing and Visual Arts and Indiana University.
