Part-Time Marketing & Communications Coordinator
20–30 hours/week | $30/hour | Hybrid (NYC-based preferred)

GALLIM is seeking a dynamic Part-Time Marketing and Communications Coordinator to lead and implement strategic marketing efforts in collaboration with our Marketing Consultant, Anna Rice. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a bold, mission-driven dance company as we prepare for a landmark season, including the world premiere of Andrea Miller’s newest work for the company, MOTHER this fall.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to elevate GALLIM’s visibility and reach.

  • Create and manage marketing content across platforms, including social media, email, and print collateral.

  • Maintain GALLIM’s brand integrity and position the company as an industry leader.

  • Collaborate with the Artistic Director, Executive Director, and Programming Director to align marketing with programming goals.

  • Track and report on marketing performance, industry trends, and audience engagement.

  • Coordinate photo/video capture at performances and events (or delegate as needed).

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in arts marketing and/or communications preferred.

  • Proficiency with social media platforms, email marketing, and basic design tools.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

  • Enthusiasm for and experience in contemporary dance and the performing arts.

  • Proven ability to efficiently edit videos and photography

  • Basic graphic design skills

  • Proficiency with Google Drive, Canva, Meta, Mailchimp, Squarespace, Dropbox, Vimeo, Adobe Creative Cloud or other design and video editing applications highly recommended
